Whew what a week! A week ago last Sunday we celebrated Kenslee’s 2nd birthday. It was a blast! I’ve never had that kind of fun at a child’s birthday before. We went to ‘Jump for Joy’, which is a place with several large air slides, obstacle courses, etc. Adults were allowed to play and boy did we play. It felt good to just play, relax and have fun.
The next day I left for Las Vegas with my girlfriend and boss, Sandra. It was a business/vacation trip. We went to the PubCon convention, which was very informative for the most part. Then we played around in Vegas.
I wasn’t all that impressed with Vegas. Yes the flashing bright lights all around are impressive but it’s all so sad really. So much money, so much hurting and loss. I guess i should just enjoy it for what it is, and i did. But i can’t say i would ever go back.
