I’m back! I know I haven’t bothered to write a single word for quite some time. I’ve been busy and frankly I haven’t been able to “pen” my emotions lately. Such big changes in our life as 2 of our grand girls moved in with us back in February. I don’t want to reveal the reasons for all the world to see, but as you can imagine, my writings will be based on a different life.Every aspect of our life has changed. There is nothing that has not been affected. I still haven’t gotten use to the fact that I can no longer just get up and go. My mind set has been slow to change in that area.
There are many things i could complain about but i choose not to. I choose to look, to search for the positives in this situation and concentrate on them. Making that choice makes everyday brighter; in fact you see the situation in a whole different light. I don’t want to live in the darkness of negativism. (not sure that is even a word)
These girls are precious to us and I thank God everyday for the opportunity to love them in the various ways we are afforded. And we pray daily for God to take control of this situation because we don’t know how, really. We ask Him to direct our thoughts, our actions our responses. He is leading us through these times by the hand. I can’t imagine having it any other way.
Each day is a day all its own and hopefully I will have the energy and time to share some of those days with you. Believe me, they don’t get boring!
