On April 12th our 4th grandgirl entered into our lives! Rhilyn Grace came into our world, healthy and beautiful! She is our first sons first child. God is so awesome!
Today is a rainy day. That means I have to find something to keep the girls entertained all day long, in the house. Not as easy as one would think. You can only watch so many movies and have so many snacks and read so many books. They need to learn how to entertain themselves more. Kids today don’t seem to be able to do that very well. I suppose it is all the stuff we have allowed them to have. I remember having to use my imagination and being able to wander around the neighborhood freely. We would play with the water hose, hide and seek, kick the can, we would run, race and just have fun doing whatever we could come up with. I guess us old folk will always think the old days were better.
I have a grandgirl tugging on my arm, it must be snacktime.
